While the daily operations of the organization fall to the paid staff, the department's ability to handle larger incidents such as structure and wildland fires and traffic accidents would not be accomplished without the dedication of our volunteers.  We have personnel living throughout our community who commit their free time to train approximately one night a week and respond to calls at all hours of the day and night.  Many occasionally work part-time shifts to help maintain our minimum staffing of at least one engine, 24 hours a day.   If you would like to serve your community, become a volunteer.
